Losing Mum, Finding Purpose
💔 Lee’s Personal Input: Losing My Mum, Finding My Purpose

They say time heals all wounds — but when I lost my mum to cancer, I realised some wounds never fully close.
You just learn to carry them differently.

Losing her didn’t just break me emotionally.
It hit me physically, mentally, and spiritually.

There were days I felt like I was walking around with no engine — just existing, not really living.
My body hurt. My mind was clouded. And spiritually, I felt completely disconnected from everything I once believed in.

But something shifted.

Instead of staying down, I made a promise to myself — and to her — to turn that pain into purpose.
That purpose became helping others, by any means I can.

💔 My Mum’s Battle

My mum wasn’t just ill — she was a warrior.

She lived with:
• COPD
• Cancer
• A triple heart bypass
• Multiple stents to keep her heart functioning

And through all of that, she still got up every day and faced life head-on.

Watching her suffer daily broke me, and it broke our family too.
But it also opened my eyes. It lit a fire in me.
I promised myself I would do better — for her, for myself, for my family…
and for every person who walks through the doors of One Life Health & Nutrition.

💬 Just Talking Helps

One of the biggest things I realised during that time is how powerful a simple conversation can be.

Just talking — no judgment, no agenda — can genuinely be life-changing.
Some people carry so much inside and feel like they’ve got nowhere to let it out.

So, if you ever need someone to talk to — whether it’s about life, health, grief, or anything in between — our door is always open.

Even if it’s just a chat and a coffee, we’re here.
No pressure. No sales. Just real connection.

🛡️ Prevention: The Power of Looking After Yourself Early

My mum’s passing taught me something crucial:
Prevention truly is better than cure.

She was the strongest woman I knew, but like so many, she often put her health last.
Now more than ever, I encourage everyone to stay on top of their wellbeing — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Whether it’s through:
• ✅ Vitamins and supplements
• ✅ Talking about your struggles
• ✅ Moving your body daily
• ✅ Getting quality rest and sleep
• ✅ Making time for peace, nature, or stillness

These small habits stack up — and they protect you in ways you don’t see… until you need them most.

🙌 We’re More Than a Shop

At One Life Health & Nutrition, we’re not just about products — we’re about people.

• Or those who just want to feel a little bit better, day by day

Whether you need guidance with supplements, support for your health journey, or just someone who gets it — we’re here.

I know what it’s like to feel like you’ve hit rock bottom.
But I also know what it’s like to find hope again.

🎶 One Life, One Love — Inspired by Bob Marley

The name One Life was inspired by one of my greatest influences — Bob Marley.

His message of love, unity, healing, and natural living shaped so much of who I am.
He stood for peace in a divided world, and always reminded us:

“Love is the answer to every question.”

And just between us — have you seen our famous Bob Marley picture in the shop?
It was a gift to myself — a daily reminder of where all of this began, and the spirit behind the brand.

💙 Final Word

To anyone who’s grieving, struggling, or simply feeling off balance — you’re not alone.

We don’t pretend to have all the answers, but we’ll always make time for you.
A quick chat, a listening ear, or a plan to help you feel stronger — it all starts with one step.

🙏 Prevention starts with caring — and we care.
