This high strength flaxseed oil is rich in the omega 3 fatty acid, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) with each 5ml teaspoon providing a whopping 2900mg. ALA is proven to contribute to maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels with a daily intake of 2g (2000mg). The oil is not only rich in ALA but also provides 600mg Linoleic acid (Omega 6) and 720mg Monounsaturates (Omega 9) per 5ml teaspoon.
Adults and children 3 years and over, take 1-2 teaspoons (5-10ml) a day. Children 6 months to 3 years take 1 tsp (5ml) a day. Not suitable for frying or baking.
